I'm still doing my thing...auditioning, doing various workshops and classes, etc. I've also been looking into starting some different martial arts classes to broaden those skills.
But lately I've also been getting more involved with volunteering for various animal rescues and shelters in Los Angeles. I think it is really important to try and give to a cause that I'm passionate about. The picture on the left is me with the adorable Carly. She was a part of Project Flying Chihuahuas, a rescue that pulls at risk dogs from over-crowded, high-kill shelters in Los Angeles and flies them to no-kill shelters on the east coast where there is high demand but low supply of smaller dogs.
Project Flying Chihuahuas is one of the many great rescues and shelters in Los Angeles working to provide a good life for as many animals as possible. Some others operating in the Los Angeles area are Bill Foundation, Best Friends Animal Society - Los Angeles, The Forgotten Dog, Lange Foundation, The Bark Avenue Foundation, and Los Angeles Animal Services. These are all animal rescues and shelters that are always in need of volunteers and donations. Or, if you are looking for a pet, they have plenty of loving animals looking for a great home!
